Stay informed and stay connected!

Message from the LRAA President

Happy New Year and welcome to February fellow LR alums!

Hopefully the start of 2023 has been a positive experience for you. It was fabulous seeing so many of you at different events last year and the current class Happy Hour last month!

We all know that with the start of a New Year, resolutions are made and changes are implemented in a variety of ways. Personally you may have set a resolution or two to create healthier habits or try a new hobby. Some businesses start a new fiscal year and new initiatives as the calendar moves from one year to another. Leadership Richardson Alumni Association is taking that approach as well.

As we enter 2023, LRAA is making some changes. One of the most dramatic changes will be with our new look. The board is currently in the process of creating an updated logo. The hope is to have a look that stands solidly on its own while still holding true to our roots from Leadership Richardson through the Richardson Chamber of Commerce.

What you will notice in the very near future is an updated calendar on the LR Alumni website. We are experimenting with a way to easily view the events happening with LRAA. This should make registration easier as well. (Key word there is should! LOL). I encourage you to check out the calendar to see the differences yourself.

As we continue to move forward into 2023, we encourage you to join us! Connect with us at our many networking events which range from social to educational. If it has been a few years since you joined and paid the annual dues, that is not a problem. The website should allow you to return as an active member easily. (There’s that "should" word again!) Once active you will have access to the upcoming events.

With that I look forward to seeing YOU at the next LRAA event!
